Which country borders the same number of countries as the number of letters in its English name?

Haha… Sorry for this convoluted question, but my other trivias seem to be too straightforward. This one is definitely not something you can just look up in Google. :)
Oh yeah, land borders only!
The longer the country’s name, the more likely you’ll win. Provided you’re completely correct, of course. :)
Nice try myavatara, but you forgot one country. France isn’t a right answer.
myavatara, you forgot Andorra on the border between France and Spain. :)

Althought lduncan00 got one of the right answers, it is still winnable!
Haha, nice try Cypress… I actually I like your answer, but you wouldn’t win because it’s only 2 letters long. :P

Kenya

It borders Sudan, Uganda, Ethiopia, Somalia, and Tanzania.

How do you get wall paper off the wall?

Posted by admin on December 29th, 2009 and filed under wall paper borders | 6 Comments »

We have tired to remove an old wall paper border in our bathroom, however there is lots of spots where it is almost "baked" into the wall. Steam is not working and sanding is the last option that I would like to take. Any other options or advise would be great!

there is a tool you can get at any hardware store, it should be pretty cheap. it is a wallpaper scorer. it has little blades that will cut into the wallpaper(but not the wall) to allow moisture to get to the center. once you have scored the wallpaper, i’d suggest a wallpaper stripper, which can be bought pretty cheap as well. just spray it over the scored wallpaper, wait however long the bottle suggests and then remove it with a flat scraper. good luck :)

Bonnie our Border Terrier is going to have her 1st pups in June. We have not done this befor any tips please?

We have 2 Border Terriers Jazz and Bonnie, 3yrs old. We have never had a litter of pups, does anyone have any tips. We have no idea what to expect. Jazz will possibly also come into season soon too, is it a good idea to also mate with her too and have 2 litters at the same time?

2 litter at once is , to much work. Your female should be checked by the vet at 6 weeks along. Research whelping & learn as much as you can. learningtobreed.com would be a great start. At 7 weeks along , I’d take her temp. Most have a temp drop below 99 & will whelp within 24 hours. Please work closely with your vet… for the health of mom & her puppies. Please find a breeder that knows the Border Terrier well before doing this again. Breeding dogs is more complicated then putting a male & female together.

What websites have a good selection on wallpaper and borders?

Wallpaper Border-Can you put new border over old?

Posted by admin on December 29th, 2009 and filed under wallpaper border | 8 Comments »

Can you put new wallpaper border over old, or do you have to remove the old border first? Also, do we have to be careful not to paint over the old border before we put the new up? Thanks.

Maybe, but the result will probably be less than satisfactory.

The old border may come loose from the wall in spots when the new ‘wet’ border is applied because the moisture from the new border will re moisten the paste from the old border.

Best to remove the old border. If it is a strippable border it will come completely off w/o any problems. If it’s a peelable border, the top vinyl layer will come off the wall leaving a paper backing. The paper backing can be removed after it is moistened. With a spray bottle of warm water, spray a 3′ section and allow to soak for several minutes. Should peel away without much effort. If the original border was installed with additional adhesive you may need to moisten the paper backing with a solution of wallpaper stripper, found at any hardware store. At this point, you may also need to scape off the remoistened border with a 6" putty knife.
