What stores carry peel & stick wallpaper borders?

Posted by admin on January 30th, 2011 and filed under wallpaper borders | 2 Comments »

I am repainting a bathroom and want to replace the old wallpaper border. I have been in Wal-Mart, Lowes & Home Depot, all three only carry traditional paste wallpaper borders and have a very small selection. I am doing this as a surprise for someone coming home from the hospital, so I need to find a nice peel & stick wallpaper border tomorrow. Where can I get the peel & stick kind (important) and find a decent selection to choose from? Thanks!!!

I’m putting up a three foot fence around my yard to keep people from letting their dogs poop on my lawn. I want to have it back a foot from the sidewalk and having some plants to border that. What will be pretty and uninviting to dogs? I hear that marigold repels deer so will it do the same for dogs? What other plants will repel them? I live in central Texas that has a hot and humid climate.

Wormwood is contemptible to most mammals, including dogs and cats. It also grows very well in Austin, but it can get up to two feet tall. I would try a dwarf variety like Powys castle.

Thorns don’t really deter dogs, but prickly pears release those horrible glochids and the pet owners would eventually get them on themselves if their dogs were to rub up against the prickly pears. It would be backhanded reminder to them to avoid your place when walking the dogs.

ANY store that sells wallpaper will have, literally, hundreds of books. There are probably 2-4 that are nothing but juvenile borders. Go to a store, like Home Depot, and pick up a book and look
