mamma mia, tra … mamma mia, tra white e nachmanoff non so chi mi fa vibrare di più, una cosa da brivido. grande Al che li porta sul palco a interpretare le sue indimenticabili canzoni.
An amazing video! … An amazing video! really shows Peter White’s amazing guitar work long before he did smooth jazz on his own. And I loved Al Stewart’s work from the beginning when it hit the USA back in the 70s.
I would have loved … I would have loved to be in the crowd but I would have only been 3 so probably wouldnt have appreciated it I was in to other stuff back then.
being a Belgian,I … being a Belgian,I recognize the flags …
Probably one of the concerts called “night of the proms” in Antwerp.
I think the orchestra is “il novecento”
They sound even … They sound even better by this point than their mid to late 70’s performances of this tune. White got some credits on some of the songs for co-wring. He strikes me as being not only impressive instrumentalist-wise, but he also was a good team player, like playing just key boards in certain ensembles.
in 2000 I got … in 2000 I got hooked on Peter White but I have heard that guitar before. Thanks to your video I now know that I first heard him in 80s playing with Al Stewart. Bueno funk is a great tune by Peter.
I wanted to say … I wanted to say something about Peter White but you’ve summed it up quite well here. He’s simply amazing! One of the best guitarists alive today. He’s also very nice in person. Met him after a concert and he was kind and accommodating.
A much finer, … A much finer, clearer audio than the 1977 recoding (previous). I particularly enjoyed the acoustic guitar playing. Nice live ambience, too. Very pleasing. Thank you for sharing this.
Arash…I hope … Arash…I hope you’re not confusing people with this Peter Woods/Peter White mixup. Peter White is alive and well, and playing guitar as brilliantly as ever. I never miss a show of his on Long Island (my neck of the woods)..only wish he played here more often.
Peter White is a … Peter White is a huge star and brilliant Smooth Jazz Guitarist from England, living in California ..with at least 10 incredible CD’s to his credit..won awards for Best Smooth Jazz Guitarist..accompanied Dave Koz just recently on his At the Movies CD..guests on so many other artists CD’s, tours with Guitars & Saxes, Smooth Jazz Cruises..is the best there is.
