Respose 2 lazyboy2, If you think i wuold put down a dog that is perfectly healthy just because of a small mischeif, then you obvouly have issues
More walks, more fun and more play. You should also consider the relationships within your family. Intelligent dogs become stressed when people in the house have issues and argue, dogs cannot cope with this. Perhaps I am assuming too much, however if you and your family don’t live in harmony, your dog will continue to chew the wallpaper.
oh yeah i should mention that im looking for the white one with the animals faces. not the one on the fisher price website, i have seen the one im looking for on ebay but i was hoping that someone would know where i could find it in stores. thank you
Stay away from borders. Borders are dated.
For a more modern feel, use stencils or a vinyl peels. That way you can just peel them off or repaint when you are sick of them.
I have scoured the internet searching for a good wall paper border but found NOTHING. I am very frustrated and I really could use your help. I’m looking for a wall paper border that is black with brightly colored polka dots to match my Little miss matched ‘Zany black’ bed spread. If you know of any wallpaper borders like that, PLEASE GIVE ME THE LINK.
Preferably pretty cheap
why not paint a black border, thick or thin as you want. Then add polka dot wall decals, in colors to match the bedding.

this wall papers are very like.. small. not for the entire wall, just for the borders
1. what kind of glue/sticking thing should i use?
2. how should i go about doing this to ensure smooth application that wont come off easily?
3. how/what can i do to prevent damage to the walls?
thanks!
Read the label. All the application information is there.
If you DO read and follow the label, there will be no damage to the wall
I bought a wall paper border and it didn’t have enough glue on it so when i put it up it fell down. can i reuse the wall paper border and put wall paper glue on it?
the wall was clean the other roll i put up went up fine but that roll i guess just didnt have enough and kept falling down
The problem may not be the paste. Walls in homes often have a film of grease on them — especially in homes where there has been a smoker. Yes you can put your border up again using wall-paper glue but to avoid a second disappointment, you should wash the surface with a weak solution of TSP (available cheap at any paint department). Then thoroughly rinse the surface. I would also apply a coat of "sizing" (again available cheap at paint departments). The sizing provides a surface the paste can "get a grip on". It also makes it easier to remove the wall paper when you redecorate.
I have pulled the border off ok. it is the paper stuck to the wall I cant get removed
is there a better way other than picking a little bit at a time? Thanks
Using a steamer worked the best. We tried a couple of other store-bought and home made solutions but the steamer was definitely the quickest and easiest way to get the paper off and it wasn’t that expensive. You can see how well it worked here, http://stephanieathome.blogspot.com/2010/08/weekend-progress_31.html
Our bathroom has fake paneling with super-slick, plastic-like surface. Like most folks, we need to save our as much as we can, so I am wondering if there is a primer I can make at home to help the border paper to stick better. Thanks for any help!
For about ten bucks you can buy a can of super strong spray glue. It would hold the paper for sure, but would be really hard to remove later

how do i hang wallpaper border alone???
It’s a pain, for sure. I always look like a monkey trying to hump a football when I try to hang borders on my own but I have come up with a couple of strategies. Unless you have a scaffold you can stretch the length of the wall so you can easily walk the whole length, it is hard to keep what you’ve put up in place while you move the ladder down to the next section. What I have found works best (if you have drywall) is to take 3 or 4 good push pin , start in one corner and tack up one end of the border, wrapping about an inch around the adjacent wall. Then let the paper droop loosely and move your ladder to the other end of the wall, carrying the border with you. Then climb up and carefull stretch the border out from the tacked end and start smoothing it onto the wall, working your way towards the tacked end (you will pull out the tacks when you get there and smooth out the slack). Borders tend to be 15 feet long so you can usually smooth out the few feet to the end around the corner in an average sized room before having to move the ladder. The tiny tack holes won’t show once you get to that first end and smooth it out — if you can push the pins through a dark area of the pattern it is best though.
If you have lath and plaster walls 9so push pins don’t pierce it easily) you can also use a 10 foot long two by four wooden stud — nail a sponge to the end and pull an old sock or pantihose over it and then lean this soft cushioned end diagonally against the start of the border to hold it in place after you smooth it down and while you move the ladder (wedge the stud against a heavy piece of furniture so it stays in place).
