Ubuntu Lost Videos – Transform Ubuntu into Windows 7 (part 1)
In this Tutorial im going to show you how to transform Ubuntu’s GUI into a more familiar Windows 7 GUI. Of course not every single aspect of Windows 7 will be present, but things such as the start menu, the “dock” like window manager, icons, wallpaper, and of course window decorations are able to be set. what do i use to glue wallpaper border?
i need help ive never used wallpaper before and i dont know how to put it up?..im only putting up borders for a baby nursey

There is something called "Wheatpaste" that is sold in craft stores or in the hardware department probably in the home decorating section. Many people use this to hang wallpaper and borders. It comes like a powder and you mix it with water until it’s a certain consistency and using a paint brush, paint it on the back of the border as you hang it. Usually borders come "prepasted" and you just have to use a rollerbrush paint tray and run the prepasted piece through some warm water and with some kind of straight edge (like a ruler or something) and a sponge put the border on sponging it with a damp sponge and then getting "kinks" and bubbles out with the straight edge, being careful not to tear the wallpaper. I’ve never had to use wheatpaste, but I’m sure if you ask anyone in the store where you purchase it, they can maybe give you advice on how to use it.
I hope this helps. I always had "prepasted" borders, sometimes the corner of the border will
peel loose after a year or so (especially in humid places, like the bathroom) I just use a little Elmer’s glue and reglue the corners. This may have to be repeated about every year or so, but otherwise you
shouldn’t have any problems. Hope this helps!
What is the easiest way to remove a wallpaper border from a painted wall?
I am redoing my daughters bedroom, and I’m having a hard time getting the border off of the wall. I thought that it would peal off easily if I just wet it, but that’s not working well at all. Does anyone have any tips that will make it come off easier and cleaner? I am repainting the walls, so I need it to come off well. Thanks.
Go to home depot or lowes and purcase a perferator very inexpencive. You can use just hot water. But i prefer a product called dif. Use it with hot water too. Be sure it is free of all glue as the paint may crack.

Is it okay to put wallpaper border on only 2 of the walls?
My family is papering/painting our bathroom. Last time we put paper above the tub, it peeled horribly. So, the question is, would it look okay for us to put border on the walls not surrounding the bathtub?
It’s been my observation over the years that papering a
bathroom is not the wisest thing to do. It will invariably peel
in some point in time. The steam from a bathroom eventually
seeps into the paper and it will lift eventually and most likely
along the seam line. The only way I’d advise a paper product
is if you have a well ventilated bathroom like say a window
you can leave open after steam accumulates.
