@flynn2008 “since … @flynn2008 “since in a free market where “firms” would always …”
Everyone on here, including the channel videos seems to be talking as if there wasn’t a free market? Which country is that? Don’t you have a free market in the US? We have a free market here, and although we’re a little bogged down by EU quality standards – in the end that means better quality products for all. Nevertheless the market over here is as free as is healthy.
A very strange … A very strange definition of a state. Lucky I live in a democratic republic, where the state is made up of representatives of our society, working to assure common services that it is beyond the means of an individual or the interests of a firm to provide. But I guess this vid is not for me I’m not an anarchist =).
I like your clear elucidation of the subject – this is the way to go I say – without shouting, just making your claims and going through the logical connections and implications.
@fringeelements … @fringeelements just listing and reading what u say but when respond to plp i think its best to be civil cause when u dont use civility u sound arrogant, then plp question ur thoughts cause who wants some1 to talk down to them u no what am sayin but other then that ur thoughts make good arguements
Oh no, I know your … Oh no, I know your reinforcing web of retarded presuppositions runs deep. That’s why you’re stupid. And your grinding stupidity is why you will be impossible to convince of anything.
I’m not trying to convince totalitarian statist anarchists to support freedom, I’m just pre-empting some retarded arguments that my viewers may hear later.
I’m sorry, “contrast” to my ideas is the norm. Furthermore your “contrast” was just a to the wind.
@fringeelements The … @fringeelements The idea that my disagreement(to put it mildly) with your ideology can be solved within a 5 min. video show either serious lack of intelligence or dishonest and insulting charade for your fan-boys.
This vague definitions can be applied to non-human animals also. There is no need for engaging this ”discussion” any further. I just left that comment for sake of contrast.
Oh on the contrary, … Oh on the contrary, if you are characteristic of most anarchists, then I have greatly overestimated the intelligence of anarchists.
“Capitalist” is a label for people engaging in certain action. I don’t advocate “leaving it to the capitalists” anymore than I advocate “leaving breadmaking to the breadmaker”. A capitalist is not some discrete person chosen beforehand, he is someone who earns and sustains his “position” by satisfying some demand of state or society.
I never thought it … I never thought it was this simple. lol You are insulting intelligence of ‘’some” anarchists.
Yeah, just leave it all to capitalists to handle everything. like – Don’t worry, we maybe sound like politicians but we are not, seriously not selling anything here. Trust us. lol
@GuardofLiberty … @GuardofLiberty Less planning = less value for capitalist to add = lower wages for capitalists. I agree that I don’t see them leaving an industry altogether because there will always be something worthwhile to add although as their value decreases then perhaps the lines between capitalists and other jobs within the firm will be come more blurred.
I’m not so sure … I’m not so sure that capitalists would disappear in a mature market and firms would shift to co-ops, but there is certainly barriers to entry that keeps capitalists in mature markets earning an artificially high percentage of wealth.
If an individual … If an individual retains certain skill sets and experience that are valued by society, even if such individual gets laid off, there would be other career opportunities, since in a free market where “firms” would always want to find valuable individuals to compete with their competitors.
my only problem … my only problem with this video is the slight conflation with managerial and entrepreneurial functions. The ownership and utilization of capital may or may not involve what is usually considered management, and visa versa. A CEO doesn’t have to own capital or stock or any of that Per-say though they can and often do.
Many capitalists … Many capitalists grow rather attached to the businesses they create and choose to stay aboard in some type of managerial role (CEO, President). If “worker owned” businesses were really more efficient I’d expect them to win “the economy game” more often.
lmao *Thinking of a … lmao *Thinking of a McDonald’s passport* You may only eat at the Mcdonald’s locations in which you have successfully applied for a visa.
