Kyrgyzstan has closed its borders to Uzbekistan. Officials say the move follows a request from the neighboring country. Kyrgyz media claim the request was made after a shooting in the adjoining Andijan province.

US and Russia are not responsible for this. We had the same f**king problem in 90’s when Kyrgyz people used to hand bodies of slaughtered Uzbeks with the sing “Sart meat” (sart is a slur for Uzbek). Back then IMU members from Namangan, pretty much wiped out Kyrgyz army and captured Kyrgyz general and some Japanese diplomats, who were later ransomed with the captured general. Unfortunately, IMU may get involved in this. I hope not though.
