Canada – Cape Columbia, Ellesmere Island, Nunavut (83°08′ N, 74°13′W) is very close to claiming the northernmost point in the world. It’s latitude is only 38 miles south of Kaffeklubben Island, Greenland and 478 miles from the North Pole.

Russia – Cape Fligely, Franz Josef Land, Nenets Autonomous Okrug ( 81°50′35″N, 59°14′22″E) is the northernmost point of Eurasia.

1) Greenland beats 2) Canada by only 38 miles and 3) Russia by a hefty marign of 566 miles.

Russia, Canada, Denmark (Greenland), & the United States (Alaska). Russia, incidentally, has been the 1st 2 put a capsuled flag on the ocean floor on the N. Poll, & Denmark may supposedly b the closest 2 the pole if there is a underwater mountain chain that extends from the north of Greenland.

    Hi…..

North Pole is located at 64°45′4″N, 147°21′7″W (64.751048, -147.351969)[2]. It is situated 13 miles to the southeast of Fairbanks on the Richardson Highway.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.2 square miles (10.9 km²), of which, 4.2 square miles (10.9 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.47%) is water. The city is located to the north and east of the Tanana River, though access to the river is not easily made due to the extensive system of levees. Beaver Springs Slough meanders through the heart of the city, emptying into Chena Slough
