Would borders of a country be under Geography?

I have to do a history report and i dont know if borders should be under Geography or history.

Well, at a given moment in time, a border would be geography.

You might have "historic borders" such as boundary demarcating the greatest extent ever reached by the Roman Empire, or the shape of the United States before the Louisiana Purchase — but they would still be geographic boundaries (specifically political geography, as opposed to physical geography, or religious, population, environmental… )

Well it depends. If you are talking like borders of present day countries that would be geography, but if you are talking about borders of ancient kingdoms, that would be History.

I’m thinking the borders of a country would be under geography.
