Our Recipe Bases are unique!
1.  They are concentrates of organic, whole grains that are freshly milled.  You can use them to create or improve any flour-based recipe.  We buy the whole grains and fresh mill them for you, to assure you get the highest nutritional value, fabulous aroma and taste!

2.  WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN OUR BULK PACKAGE: You must add some all-purpose flour, water, yeast, oil and sweetener to complete the bread mix. Most bread mixes we have seen are complete mixes for bread machines and make only one small 1 pound loaf  per  package. Atkins mix, for example, of  8 oz. makes a single one-pound loaf. You use bakers percentages with our bulk packed recipe-base to create your own favorite bread recipe.

How to use our Bread Baking Mixes:
Our baking mixes can be used to create our recipes enclosed in the package or as the base for your own favorite recipes for breads, biscuits, dinner rolls, pizza, focaccia, etc. If your recipe calls for 3 cups of all purpose flour, then use 2 cups of all purpose flour and 1 cup of our recipe base. That is, 2/3 of recipe flour as bread flour and 1/3 as our organic whole grain recipe base mix.

How we package our Recipe Mixes:
We package our base concentrates in ten pound packages.  You just add some bread flour to complete the recipe. We also make complete mixes in 24 oz. heavy duty stand up pouches for a no fuss way to make several loaves in your bread machine or oven.
