“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” – 4th amendment of the US Constitution

Highlights:

(5:35) Agent whips out his nun chucks in anger
(7:45-8:00) The agent tells me in less than perfect English, “In the Border Patrol Checkpoint, the person’s rights doesn’t matter here.”
(16:50-17:10) I’m told that the police will arrive in less than 10 minutes to arrest me
(19:00-19:40) I’m accused of being a terrorist
(26:20) I’m told that I’m free to go without being searched

Thank God we live in a free country! But how long will our freedom last if we ignore our Bill of Rights?

The highest power in the US government is the Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land…not border patrol agents on a power trip that are about 75 miles from the border.

Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Pro 29:12 If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.

Mexican Drug Cartels Overrunning American Cities. Build a border Wall – Glenn Beck

Posted by admin on December 25th, 2009 and filed under wall borders | 25 Comments »

Have we had enough yet? What is it going to take to wake the American people up to the fact that their country is being overrun with foreigners who have no great love of this country, but who only want to make a buck at any expense.

Should not the violence on the Mexican-American border be a warning to us all of what is waiting for all of America if this illegal immigration is not stopped? How long will we wait until we take control of our border? I say that when the troops start coming home from Iraq, that they should head strait for our border, because that is where the real threat to America is coming from.

Now don’t get me wrong and start calling me a racist, because I’m not. All that I’m saying is that we need to control our borders; we need to know who is entering our country. Is that too much to ask for?

Mexican drug cartels take over U.S. cities

Mexican drug cartels operating in cities in the U.S. are buying up legitimate businesses to launder money and using some of the proceeds to win local mayoral and city council seats for politicians who can shape the policies and personnel decisions of their police forces, according to Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., who has led the fight to secure the U.S.-Mexico border and enforce the nation’s immigration laws.
In his new book, “In Mortal Danger: The Battle for America’s Border and Security,” Tancredo exposes what he has learned from meetings with law enforcement authorities regarding a concerted effort by the Mexican mafia and drug cartels to extend their corruptive influence in urban areas dominated by illegal alien populations.
Tancredo says some of these small cities have become hostile and dangerous places for legitimate law enforcement officials.
“The Tijuana-based Felix drug cartel and the Juarez-based Fuentes cartel began buying legitimate business in small towns in Los Angeles County in the early 1990s,” he writes in his new book published by WND Books. “They purchased restaurants, used-car lots, auto-body shops and other small businesses. One of their purposes was to use these businesses for money-laundering operations. Once established in their community, these cartel-financed business owners ran for city council and other local offices. Over time, they were able to buy votes and influence in an effort to take over the management of the town. They wanted to create a comfort zone from which they could operate without interference from local law enforcement.”
Tancredo, the chairman of the House Immigration Reform Caucus, now a powerful force within Congress for opposing amnesty plans for illegal aliens and for promoting tougher border security measures, points, as an example, to the L.A. County city of Bell Gardens where corrupt elected officials under the influence of drug lords actually tried to shut down the police department.
“City officials who would not cooperate with the Mexican-born city manager were forced out of office,” he writes. “Eventually, the L.A. County attorney’s office moved in, and the city manager was prosecuted on charges of corruption. Unfortunately, Bell Gardens was only the tip of the iceberg. Other Los Angeles suburbs including Huntington Park, Lynwood and Southgate became targets for the cartels.”
In fact, similar efforts to undermine law and order by Mexican criminal gangs are under way, Tancredo says, in Texas, Arizona and elsewhere.
“The corruption spreading from south of the border is not confined to Southern California,” he writes. “In Cameron County, Texas, the former sheriff and several other officials were recently convicted of…

Just as government officials had feared, the drug violence raging in Mexico is spilling over into the United States.

U.S. authorities are reporting a spike in killings, kidnappings and home invasions connected to Mexicos murderous cartels. And to some policymakers surprise, much of the violence is happening not in towns along the border, where it was assumed the bloodshed would spread, but a considerable distance away, in places such as Phoenix and Atlanta.

Investigators fear the violence could erupt elsewhere around the country because the Mexican cartels are believed to have set up drug-dealing operations all over the U.S., in such far-flung places as Anchorage, Alaska; Boston; and Sioux Falls, S.D.

The violence follows the drugs, said David Cuthbertson, agent in charge of El Pasos FBI office.

The violence takes many forms: Drug customers who owe money are kidnapped until they pay up. Cartel employees who dont deliver the goods or turn over the profits are disciplined through beatings, kidnappings or worse. And drug smugglers kidnap illegal immigrants in clashes with human smugglers over the use of secret routes from Mexico.

So far, the violence is nowhere near as grisly as…
