kenya tyme
hear the cracklin’ paper
as you test the basil – mayo
pull apart the cheese
and tip your brown beer bottle
smell the grinding coffee beans
set by tattooed arms to motion
near the burlap bag topped table
holds the telephone unanswered
he feels her shaking laughter
as she forks her chick panini
underneath the spaceship lights
where she gestures, “See You later!”
he feels the brick wall borders
holding all the human faces
bulletin board like talkers
in between sweet licks of frosting
he tastes her warmth from her casual glance
come on over if you please
wouldn’t miss this Kenya tyme
for such a time as these…

Very interesting style. What is it called? I knew a fellow who played his guitar on his lap, in reverse. He played jazz though, and was absolutely driven by his music.

) I just love your wording,it’s a unique way of expressing yourself musically! I wish I could get more detailed and deep as you but that’s a great gift of yours not many have.
) I love the way you sing, there’s a lightness and tenderness about it. Really great my buddy! And you know I dig the old window scene. lol Keep em coming because they all rock!
)
I love how you write with such imagery, setting all these scenes for us like we can picture them. It’s fantastic my brother Michael!
