I used anaglypta…or embossed…wallpaper border for the upper right rectangle. In addition to being available as a border, it is also available in rolls like regular wallpaper. I have also seen ceiling medallions for around the base ceiling lights. To glue it, I used ordinary white glue. Put a book underneath the canvas to create a solid background that you can put weight on during the drying process…that creates a very good bond. Don’t forget to place non-stick aluminum foil on it so any excess glue won’t stick to one of your books.
The stencil was my mother’s, probably dating back to the 1940’s or earlier.

Hi and welcome, …
Hi and welcome, Carla! Yes, it is finished except for covering up the staples on the side…it was a very inexpensive canvas and not gallery wrapped. I have been planning on doing a video not just about that piece but other projects I am working on. Can’t believe I haven’t done a video since February!
