I want to replace my border with crown molding, any suggestions on the easiest way to remove the border?
I’m assuming it is a wallpaper border. You can use wallpaper remover, steam it off, or use a wallpaper scoring tool. Of all of the methods I’ve used to remove borders and wallpaper, steaming it off is by far the easiest.

If it’s vinyl, just pick up a corner and pull off. If paper, wet with a garden sprayer and dig off with putty knife. If it won’t wet, scratch with course sandpaper.
