The one I bought doesn’t say if its pre-pasted or not pre-pasted. But I remember seeing some that says pre-pasted. Just wondering what is the difference.
Pre pasted paper comes from the factory already pasted. Just wet the back and its ready to go. The other you have to apply wallpaper paste to the backing. I prefer the type that uses paste. Looks better wont peel as easy as prepasted. Since you doing a border, pasting the back should not be a problem or a big mess.

A huge mess!!!! The prepasted you need only to get wet and hang…the other requires you to apply the paste and smooth and you end up with more paste on YOU than the wall.

Pre-pasted has the paste applied and you dip it in water, then apply to wall. Not pasted means you buy the paste, apply it to the paper according to directions and then apply to the wall.

The difference is not pre pasted means you have to buy wallpaper paste and mix it up in a bucket with water and spread it on the paper; with a brush.
Prepasted is the glue is already on the paper, and all you need to do is soak it in something wide enough and deep enough to hold the paper, (I use the bathtub) You take it out, let it drip for a minute or two and fold in into the center from both ends. this is called booking; When ready; Hang it.

Pre pasted borders just have to have a damp cloth applied to them, then put in place
Non pre pasted borders have to have the paste added to them before hanging

With pre-pasted wallpaper border all you have to do is soak it in water for a few seconds, then apply it to your wall. Not pre-pasted border you have to add wall paper paste to it before you apply it to the wall.

Pre-pasted is not as hard to work with, I think.

The pre-pasted border works.
Just wet it in a laundry tub, let it
relax a minute, then roll it across
the wall.
I use a wall paper brush, a wood
seam roller and a sharp razor blade
for cropping.
For pre-paste wall paper, I usually
paste right on top of their glue.
Especially if it’s heavy paper.

Pre-pasted is when you get it wet to stick it to the wall. Not pre-past, you have to purchase paste. if yours doesn’t say I would assume you have to buy the paste.
