How can I attach wallpaper to the wall without gluing it?

I live in an apartment and want to use a wallpaper border, but obviously am not allowed to put it up permanently since we’re renting. I’d have to attach it using a temporary method, but what is the best way to do it without having it fall down?

I know they make temporary wallpaper, but that won’t help me because I’m not going to buy a border, I already have one and need a way to put it up "temporarily".

Double sided tape and lots of it or that blue stuff you hang posters with.

Something has to stick it to the wall. It it’s not glue, nails, screws, tacks, or staples then I think the only option you’ll have is … magic.
