How do you safely apply wallpaper border without damaging the wall in an apartment. The place my friend moved in to has a whole page of charges for "damaging" their property. I guess they want the place to look like an institution from the early 20th century. They went over the place with her before moving in and will do the same when she chooses to move. The white walls have to go!!!!! It’s too sterile.
Use wall prep where the border will be. When you remove the border, it will peel right off. Clean the wall with warm water and a plastic scraper, and no one will ever know. Hope this helps.
